On Wednesday, April 24th, as part of the 2025 Barossa Vintage Festival, something special happened in Eden Valley. The Eden Valley Tourism Group (EVTG) hosted its very first Long Table Dinner – a sold-out event that brought locals and visitors together to share an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and community spirit.

Held under the 'stars' in true Eden Valley style, the Long Table Dinner was a celebration of everything that makes our region unique. The menu featured native produce thoughtfully matched with wines from our family-owned and operated wineries – each pairing designed to showcase the depth and character of Eden Valley's offerings.
The event was organised and run entirely by the dedicated volunteers of EVTG. Our group exists to raise funds and awareness for the natural and community-based assets of Eden Valley, Barossa. The success of this dinner not only brought people together for a beautiful evening, but also helped raise vital funds for our current project: the restoration of the Eden Valley Lookout on Burke’s Hill Road.
This scenic spot has long been a place of reflection and connection for both residents and visitors, and we’re thrilled to be working towards restoring it for future generations to enjoy.
From the atmosphere and the flavours to the laughter and the conversations shared, the night felt like something truly special. Every guest around that long table brought warmth and generosity, helping to create a memorable and meaningful celebration of Eden Valley.

Thank you to everyone who helped with the creation of this event, attended, supported, and made the evening possible. Your presence and participation have contributed to something that will have a lasting impact on our community.
📣 And we’re not done yet – keep an eye out for our next Eden Valley Long Table Dinner! We’re bringing back the same intimate, communal dining experience, this time with a special twist: a spotlight on one of our standout local wineries, with a tailored food and wine journey that dives even deeper into what makes Eden Valley so extraordinary.
We can’t wait to welcome you back.
